(Reuters) – Universal Health and fitness Products and services Inc

claimed on Thursday that its corporate community is currently being restored soon after a malware incident knocked it out for five times.

In a statement, the health care team explained it was self-confident its healthcare facility networks would be “restored and reconnected shortly.”

The organization delivered no exact timetable but reported that, as much as its company-level administrative methods were being anxious, “the restoration system is both full or well underway in a prioritized manner.”

Universal, which runs some 400 health care centers and hospitals across the United States and the U.K., experienced been combating to restore its systems given that the incident commenced on Sunday.

The business has not commented on what accurately induced the incident, but employees and exterior gurus described it as a ransomware assault.

The company has explained its U.K. operations are unaffected.
